Telaga Dringo / Dringo Lake

Hahaha

This time trip invitation comes from my friend, Bayu. Road trip to Wonosobo, a small town in Central Java, Indonesia. You can said I am as his co-driver. Bayu came from Wonosobo. Coincidence time, it was long weekend so I decide to go with him.

Syahdu. Merdu. Gemericik.

Bayu picked me up in Bekasi, and then our car passing through Cikampek toll road and Cipali toll Had exit from Cipali toll road due to congestion the streets shown on Google Maps , in Pantura lane and after several times of stop just finally we came to Wonosobo, followed by an orchestra of light rain. Melodious. Gurgling .

Gue selalu kangen sama kota Wonosobo. Great!! Menu yang sedikit nggak nyambung tapi tetap endesss…

I always miss Wonosobo. The peaceful small town, with cold and cool of air. That night we spent at Bayu’s home eating fried chicken, a glass of ginger milk and tempe soybean. Great menu!

Sunrise yang gagal / sunrise its failed

Pagi jam 2 kami bangun dan segera berbenah, yak… pagi itu kami bermaksud nge-hit sunrise di Candi Borobudur lewat jalur Manohara Resort. Sebenarnya lewat jalur ini cukup mahal harga retribusinya, hanya saja gue beruntung dapat gratisan. Nggak perlu gue jelaskan gimana ceritanya, bisa 2 halaman ntar… Hahaha

We woke up at 2.00 o’clock in the morning. That morning we intend to hit the sunrise in the temple of Borobudur via Manohara resort.  Actually passed the trail is quite expensive the price of ticket, but I got lucky can have a free pass. No need to explain how I did the free ticket, I just got lucky 🙂

Backpacker borjuis is back!!

Sunrise at Borobudur this time including failed, because of the sun was ashamed to show himself. He preferred hiding behind clouds. Only a few of his warm rays who had on my face. After I take some shots of photograph, we went back to Manohara to enjoy snacks. Backpacking bourgeois is back ! !

Sunrise its failed 😦

Done in Borobudur, we shifted to Muntilan just to enjoy “Soto Pak Moch” – soto (soup) which a nice and authentic flavor. I promised to myself that I will go back here, and this time it. I was written about this soto on my other essay when I traveled to Mt. Merbabu last time. This time I went to Borobudur with my oldest sister and her family.

Gue rasa jalur ini cocok buat tempat World Rally Championship berikutnya. Sebastian Loeb perlu menjajal track kick-ass ini… Hahaha. Sampai di Wonosobo, kami bersepakat buat nge-hit Telaga Menjer menikmati sunset di sore hari. Hanya saja ketika siang hari langit tidak bersahabat, hujan cukup deras – dan kamipun berdua tepar kelelahan. Batal. Gagal. Hahahaha…

A full stomach, Me and Bayu back to Wonosobo via Sapuran. This lane was challenge enough for motorists. I think this trail suitable for the next World Championship Rally and Sebastian loeb need to face this kick-ass track. LOL. In Wonosobo, we talked to go to Menjer Lake just for enjoy sunset in the afternoon. It is just heavy rain enough, we both cancel the trip. Void. Failed

Mie Ongklok – Telaga Dringo / Mie Ongklok – Dringo Lake

Toop!

In the afternoon we both hunting for Mie Ongklok (Ongklok noodles), Me, Bayu and his friends we hang out and meet up with some friends other in a coffee shop. Quite comfortable place and the price is cheap. Recommended for the backpackers. A bowl of Mie Ongklok and 10 skewer of beef satay which delicious successful to fill our stomach. Top.

Mie Ongklok… Yummy!

From Bayu’s friend we heard a place on the area of Dieng Plateu that very cool. The name is Dringo Lake. Browse on Google and Instagram, its place is pretty. We formerly intend to go to Posong pursued the sunrise, but finally we deflect our compass into this lovely place .

Salut!

3.00 o’clock in the morning we go to Dieng Plateau – Me, Bayu and with his father who participate. Travel through the fog and cold. Frozen. Until in intersection of Dieng, we found that the development which is quite rapid of this area. More homestay or guest house existing, than last time I went to this place. The new icon “Welcome to Dieng” was built. Apparently local government began to care about tourism potential from Dieng this. Good job, salute!

New icon of Dieng Plateau… very cool!

Car reached the Crater of Candradimuka; from Dieng intersection to the right direction, we met intersection take the road to the right. And then until you see a big mosque, shortly there’s a sign board showed you go to the right direction to Dringo Lake. No need to be afraid or lost, the sign board quite a lot. The way to crater candradimuka in very bad condition,  the damaged asphalt at some points; the local government need to pay attention of this. At the crater, we could park the car over here or we drive until the end to the lake. But the road condition getting more bad I can tell.

Papan penunjuk
Direction boards, very helpful to get there

Kenjiro Shinozuka mah lewat… Hahahaha

We met another intersection, and we hesitated will take the left or right road; since there was no sign board or guidance. Google Maps not being much help, because the quality of signal is very bad tending to there was no signals at all. LOL. We decided took the right road based on our instinct and marker nature, which is wrong decision. We got lost. LOL. Its direction the village. We should took to the left at the junction according to local residents. The incline – derivative steep, without the good asphalt , at the left right was cliffs and a ravine it must be needed skill of a driver. And Bayu’s father proved it. I was amazed with his drive ability – Kenjiro shinozuka should learn from him. LOL.

Sunrise at Dringo Lake; beautiful isn’t?

Menggelegak. Puas. Satu lagi destinasi yang belum sekalipun pernah gue injak. Indonesia itu indah. Sangat indah. Nggak bakal gue tukar dengan kebudayaan apapun – mau Amerika, Arab, Australia bahkan negeri jiran yang hobinya meng-klaim sekalipun. Gue bangga hidup di bumi pertiwi!

Cut a long story short, Dringo Lake is getting ahead of my eye. Spoiling to make love with a desire dawn. Clear blue skies harmonizes with orange color will blossom to lull my subconscious. This is me, allied to the natural world again. Bubbling. Satisfied. One more tourism destination who have not I found before. Indonesia is a beautiful.Very beautiful. Wouldn ‘t I swap with any culture. I proud to live here in Indonesia!

What would I say about this? A piece of heaven precisely

Mau makan enak?? Pergi jauh – nikmati keindahan daerah tujuan dan kuliner lokal. Tinggalkan mal yang membosankan…

In this lake there are several tents that stand, they are the worshiper of nature. LOL. We satisfied returning to Wonosobo after took some pictures. The car that we used pretty tough as off road car. Soto Sapi (A cow soup) Wonosobo was delicious enough after our trip that morning. Satisfied. In the afternoon after resting, Three of us – Me, Bayu and his uncle went home to Jakarta. Not much can I write here, because it night travel. Only Sroto Sokaraja “Kecik” we enjoyed when we stop for some rest. It evocatives taste for our tongues, to tasted culinary enjoyment of being authentic. You want to eat delicious? Go far, enjoy the regions – enjoy the beauty of the destination and local culinaries. Leave mall which boring. LOL.

Road trip yang menyenangkan…
